As you know, not all people trust synthetic pharmaceutical medicines, preferring to cope with ailments with proven folk remedies. One such remedy is chaga mushroom, which has excellent antibacterial properties.
When it comes to the beneficial properties of the chaga mushroom, first of all, it is worth noting its effectiveness in the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders. Chronic fatigue syndrome, metabolic disorders in the body, tonic, antispasmodic, diuretic, analgesic, antimicrobial, reparative, laxative effect, restoration of liver and heart functions, tuberculosis - this is not a complete list of Chaga's capabilities. Chaga infusion can slow down the growth of malignant tumors. This is due to the presence of pterin in its composition, which is difficult to find in conventional foods. According to recent studies, chaga can be used to create an effective drug to fight coronavirus infection. And of course, the birch mushroom can be a good preventive measure to avoid getting sick with Covid 19.
A new medicine against coronavirus infection can be created on the basis of chaga, the so-called birch fungus growing on trees, said Professor Tamara Teplyakova, head of the mycology laboratory at the Vector Novosibirsk Center.
Scientists at the Vector Center for Virology and Biotechnology in Novosibirsk have proved that the extract of the chaga birch mushroom can suppress the multiplication of particles of a new type of coronavirus. This means that an antiviral drug can be created on the basis of the extract.
Since 2008, Vektor's specialists have been studying the antiviral activity of more than half a thousand medicinal mushroom samples against a number of pathogenic viruses: type 1 immunodeficiency, type 2 herpes simplex, West Nile virus, influenza pathogens and others. And the winner of this "competition" was chaga: its water extracts with melanin pigments suppressed all the viruses investigated in the work, including herpes and HIV.

The therapeutic effect of chaga can be explained by a very wide range of biologically active components, which are formed by the close interaction of birch and mushroom. Among them are high-molecular water-soluble melanins (up to 30%), which form a chromogenic polyphenoloxycarboxylic complex with antitumor activity; pterins with cytostatic action; steroid substances, including inotodiol, exhibiting antiblastic activity, as well as polysaccharides, organic acids, free phenols, flavonoids, etc. Chaga contains many trace elements, primarily manganese, which serves as an enzyme activator.
Virologists under the guidance of Oleg Pyankov, Candidate of Biological Sciences, have studied the antiviral activity of water extracts of chaga against coronavirus, herpes and HIV using Vero cell culture. To do this, scientists applied chaga extracts in different concentrations to the cell culture. After a while, a new type of coronavirus strain was applied to them.
Mushroom extracts have shown high inhibitory activity against coronaviruses. Since chaga has a pronounced protective effect and low toxicity, we can talk about the prospects of creating antiviral drugs on its basis.
Researchers have applied for an invention, and also stated that the effectiveness of the chaga extract was tested on employees of the Vector Center who were sick with coronavirus. All subjects noted that symptoms of infection disappeared after five to seven days.
As noted in the patent application, the researchers cited several methods for preparing concentrated aqueous chaga extracts. They can be made at home as chaga is non-toxic. You can consume 150-200 ml of the concentrate per day, taking it evenly throughout the day (for example, sip every 15-20 minutes with water). Also, an aqueous extract of chaga increases blood fluidity, which reduces the risk of thrombosis in a pandemic.
Already, patients with COVID-19 can be advised to take chaga extracts in parallel with the therapy prescribed by the doctor (hypersensitivity to birch mushroom, pregnancy and lactation, as well as age up to 12 years are official contraindications to the use of chaga preparations). In addition, there is evidence that chaga should not be used in conjunction with antibiotics.
Chaga and cancer
Cancer treatment with birch chaga mushroom has a good effect as an adjuvant therapy. It manifests itself especially strongly at the initial stage of the disease - the pain subsides, the growth of cancer cells fades.
In the story "Cancer Ward" Alexander Isaevich Solzhenitsyn describes his wanderings around oncological dispensaries, where psychological experiences are already on the verge between life and death. If the writer did not believe in miraculous power fungus и aconite and would not take them regularly, he would have lived no more than two or three years. It was these herbal preparations that saved his life, and he lived another 55 years after contracting cancer.
Large pharmaceutical companies of the world have recently become interested in the antitumor properties of chaga. Clinical and laboratory studies are being carried out to create effective preparations from chaga for the treatment of oncological diseases. What modern pharmacists have only now learned has long been known to healers and healers of traditional medicine, and in the Kiev center of fungotherapy, bioregulation and Ayurveda, chaga mushroom has been successfully used for many years in the treatment of various types of tumors.
Today, chaga is known as the most powerful antioxidant in the world. This has been installed quite recently. Chaga was not used as an official anti-cancer agent because it works, like all mushrooms, much slower than synthetic chemistry. Medicinal mushrooms have a different mechanism for killing cancerous tumors. They modulate immunity, increase the number of immune cells through polysaccharides, melanins and other substances.
A cancerous tumor "blocks" our immune system - immune cells grow and divide very slowly, they are formed much less often than necessary. Medicinal mushrooms, and chaga in the first place, removes the blockage of the immune system so that, as biologists say, they have a “speciation outbreak”. Leukocytes, T-killers and other cells are actively formed, which are precisely designed to work and destroy a cancerous tumor. Mushrooms restore the immune system, not stimulate it. Therefore, medicinal mushrooms need time to manifest their anticancer properties. The sooner a cancer patient turns for help, the more effective the mushroom treatment will be. If the patient has time for treatment from six months or more, then from oncology can be cured with mushrooms alone, without resorting to the traumatic treatment of official medicine.
Since it is much better to prevent than to deal with the consequences, chaga is an ideal remedy for cancer prevention. And as recent studies show, also the prevention of coronavirus infections. There is a 98-99% chance that regular use of chaga will not develop cancer. Regularly including chaga in your diet (it can be chaga tea, elixir, extract, powder) can protect your health from cancer and viral diseases and improve your body as a whole.
In conclusion, we present one of the options for making Chaga at home. Napar Chagi is prepared at the rate of 1 teaspoon powder for 0,5 liters of very hot water. Poured into a thermos and infused overnight. Take during the day in half - one glass instead of tea, between meals. Elixir of Chaga (alcoholic infusion) or chaga extract (non-alcoholic solution) just drip 8-10 drops into a tablespoon of water, hold in the mouth and swallow. This is done twice a day 20-30 minutes before meals. Be healthy!!!
